Website update.
It’s ten years since I first put together the Arendzen/Stracké website so an update is overdue! Many things have moved on since 2010, particularly the way that people access the internet. It makes sense, therefore, to create a responsive design that works as well on tablets and phones as it does on a hi-res computer monitor. The feel of the website will be broadly the same, as I have retained the same colours and overall look to the design.
However, I have dropped the outdated (and no longer supported) Gallery programme in favour of WordPress. As one of the most popular platforms worldwide, WordPress is well supported and regularly updated, so hopefully I won’t need to update the site for another ten years, as it represents quite a bit of work in styling the website and adding material from scratch.
In the meantime, while the new website develops, please don’t forget that we are always looking for new information or material. It will be simpler to add material to the new website, so I expect to be able to keep on top of things better, uploading faster and keeping it generally more up to date.
